You want to know how you Baseball's changed in this modern day and age?

This man dealing out the high-fives is Geovany Soto. He's the leader in the clubhouse for the National League Rookie of the Year as well as the NL starting catcher. He's a scoch of a late bloomer, but he's an offensive stud.

Or is he?

Look at these numbers: 1, 3, 2, 9, 4, 6, 29, 26*

*Pro-rated for the season.

Tell me the man isn't juicing something fierce. I mean really. His 2007 had more homers than the previous six seasons combined. He lost 30 pounds and gained power? Highly dubious.

Highly dubious, indeed.

Of course, I have no idea the veracity of this situation. I'm just saying that any power spike in the modern era of baseball. Any whatsoever? There's an issue that needs to be dealt with.

Poor Geovany. Or not.

He may actually be cheating.
